InternationalConferenceonCratonFormationandDestruction(ICCFD)isaimedatdiscussionandexchangeofideasonawiderangeoftopicsrelatedtotheformationandevolutionofoldcratonsanditsrelationshipstotectonicsanddeepmantledynamics.ICCFDwillconsistofafour-dayindoormeetingfollowedbyonepost-meetingfieldexcursiontotheTrans-NorthChinaOrogenoftheNorthChinaCraton.TheOrganizingCommitteeoftheICCFDstronglyhopestobringtogethergeologists,petrologists,geochemistsandgeophysicistswithdiverseapproachesandmethodologies.
